Hi, I’m Dona Lu, mostly known as Luciana or Lu. I know, it sounds confusing. But let me explain.

My given name is Luciana and my closest friends and family Lu.

And then, comes Dona Lu. Only my husband calls me this. But not all the time, only when I mess stuff up, when I slip up or when I get in trouble. He usually says: Ah, Dona Lu! It's a loving way he found to laugh at what happened, to slap on my wrist and show me that making mistakes isn't a problem. Regardless of the size of my stumble or my daily follies (which are many), he is always giving me full support.

So, I decided to name my brand Dona Lu. This name carries many meanings: it's support, it's courage, it's resilience, it's believing that everything will work out. It’s a permission to be who I am, to feel free and be happy. And last but not least, it’s a tribute to my lovely husband who supports me blindly.

Family plays a huge role in my life.

For me, family is not just a priority; it's the very lens through which I perceive the world. Our home, a sanctuary of love and togetherness, holds a special place in my heart.
